See All ReviewsWe went to Paramo the 26 Friday around 3:30 - 4:00pm, just few people in the local, we got sat and check the menu. We start with drinks with two Tamarindo juices and one maracuya/parchita juice. Finally ordered coconut shrimp, paramo burger and steak pepito; coconut shrimp was lack of flavor to be honest, besides that the texture was good. Paramo burger was an absolute banger really good recommendation, talking about the steak pepito i tried better pepitos for the same price lack of items and house sauces
This restaurant is nice! They serve Venezuelan typical food, and the coffee is delicious. My family and I went for brunch and tried the arepas. Our favorite was the chicharron arepa—it tasted great! We really appreciated the fresh water made with natural fruit. I tried guava without sugar, as I prefer natural flavors, and I loved it! It was like a smoothie. The place is cozy, and the service is good. There was only one server when we visited, so the service felt a bit pressured, but nothing that the server couldn't handle. They forgot one of our drinks but gave it to me as a courtesy, which was very nice of them. Unfortunately, the only downside was seeing a huge bug (roach). I don’t feel comfortable around those insects, but my dad killed it. Thankfully, we saw it after we finished eating. I understand it’s challenging to control bugs in restaurants because of the food, but without that detail, my review would be perfect. Other than that, I would come again and try different dishes.
I had the pleasure of dining at Paramo and my experience was absolutely fantastic! The atmosphere was very relaxing, with muted colors and Latin music providing a wonderfully inviting atmosphere. The food at Paramo was outstanding - an amazing array of flavors and textures. Their fried plantains were particularly delicious, and the empanadas and arepas were simply out of this world. The ingredients used were all incredibly fresh, and the seasonings and spices used added an extra zing to each dish. All in all, Paramo is by far the best Venezuelan food I have had the pleasure of tasting. The quality of the food and the service were both excellent, and the ambiance was perfect for a romantic dinner or a casual night out with friends. I highly recommend Paramo to anyone looking for an unforgettable culinary experience.
